ShadowTag supports NIIMBOT D11 and D110 Bluetooth printers. It recognizes the common 203 dpi D-series profile and the 300 dpi _H profile separately so the app can use the correct printer language.
Start with the right printer and labels
The most important rule is simple: buy label stock that fits the exact printer on your table. For the NIIMBOT D11/D110 profile, ShadowTag uses a 12 × 40 mm label layout. Do not assume a similarly named roll will fit; check the printer model and loaded roll before printing a batch.

Connect and test in ShadowTag
- Charge the printer and load the roll. Make sure the label feeds straight and the cover is closed before opening the app.
- Open ShadowTag’s Printer screen. Keep the printer unpaired in iOS Bluetooth Settings; ShadowTag connects directly to supported printers.
- Scan and choose the discovered NIIMBOT. If the printer name includes
_H, ShadowTag uses the high-resolution profile. Standard D11/D110 models use the classic profile. - Run a test label. Check alignment, readable price size, and whether the label advances cleanly. Only then start a batch.
Make labels customers can read
At a card show, a label needs to answer the buyer’s first questions immediately: what card is this, what is the price, and where can they find you later? In ShadowTag’s Label Studio, use your logo and QR code only if they do not crowd the card name or price.
- Keep the price largest and easiest to scan.
- Use one clear card-name style rather than several tiny fields.
- Point the QR code to your shop or Instagram, not a temporary link.
- Use the same label layout across the table so customers learn where to look.
If the print is wrong
It printed blank or stopped after one label
Confirm the discovered printer name and profile. A D11_H and a standard D11/D110 use different printer protocols; reconnect through the app, then test again.
The label is clipped or feeds too far
Check that the physical roll matches the selected printer and use a single test label. Do not keep retrying a large batch until the test label is right.
The printer will not appear
Turn the printer off and on, keep it close to the iPhone, and make sure it is not manually paired in iOS Bluetooth Settings. If it still will not connect, send the printer model and a screenshot to [email protected].
